Sutter Health moves to HP Campus site

 

Sutter Health is moving it's new Shared Services Center to Roseville. And with it, plans for 1,000 jobs within 18 months with more jobs coming over time. Sutter has signed a 10-year lease for the 295,000 square foot R-21 building, formerly owned by HP and will begin moving in the spring of 2013.

This is tremendous addition to our city. Initial estimates are for an economic impact of over $264 million to our region, and it is believed much of this will be in Roseville.Scheduled to open in early 2013, the center will be located in a nearly 300,000-square-foot office building at 9100 Foothills Blvd., near Highway 65 and Blue Oaks Boulevard in west Roseville. Tenant improvements will begin immediately and the first group of 200 to 300 employees will move into the facility in the first quarter of 2013. Additional employees will follow, in phases. Sutter Health’s lease includes an option to expand the Roseville site to accommodate additional employees, if necessary in the future.

The building was constructed by HP as part of its Roseville campus, and was vacant for many years before it was sold last year. This announcement singlehandedly reduces Roseville’s office vacancy rate by 20 percent, from 25 percent to 20 percent.

 

 

Cokeva to Occupy R10 Building at Hp Campus

According the October 11th Business Journal article, "On the same day Sutter Health announced it was leasing a former Hewlett-Packard Co. building in Roseville, a Rocklin business confirmed it bought and is moving into another building on the same campus.  Cokeva Inc. said it bought the HP “R10” building at 900 Foothills Boulevard, which is 326,000 square feet, sits on 57 acres and has been vacant since 2007. The price was not disclosed. It is one of two buildings that HP sold as surplus. Cokeva, founded in 1989, has 270 employees in Rocklin and provides repair and other services for high tech companies. Bed Bath & Beyond & Buy Buy Baby occupy former Expo suite

The large tenant space that once housed Home Depot "Expo" at Creekside Retail Center, will be divided into three new big-box tenants. The tenant spaces at 1120 Galleria Blvd., managed by Evergreen Brittania, break down to 51,203 for Bed Bath and Beyond and 29,153 square feet for Buy Buy Baby. The third vacant suite is still pending.   The combined valuation for the tenant improvements is greater than 3 million dollars.

  • Toys R Us will have a mall presence in S-231. You'll never want to grow up!

  • Perfume Gallery will have  a Kiosk in space K-9008. Stop by this kiosk to fulfill all of your fragrance needs.

  • Noble Luggage will be opening soon in S-116. They specialize in  luggage and travel accessories, leather wallets and briefcases.
