Night Out at the Museum - October 21

    At this month's Night Out at the Museum, "Dreaming New Patterns, Imagining Ourselves: California Native Women and Resurgence."  
Vanessa Esquivido and Sarah Biscarra Dilley will present developing research at the intersections of recognition struggles and relationship to place using Indigenous visual culture(s), creativity and innovation as a common thread. Vanessa Esquivido is an enrolled member of the Nor Rel Muk Wintu Tribe. Sarah Biscarra Dilley (yak tityu tityu) is a multidisciplinary artist and scholar.

Program starts at 7pm. Light refreshments will be available.

Dr. Khal Schneider, Assistant Professor of History at CSU Sacramento, will be at the Riley Library from 4pm-5pm with his presentation on  "Anderson v. Mathews and California Indian Citizenship" . Dr. Scheider is a tribal citizen of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria.
