Roseville Police Now Accepting Applications for Rotation Towing Companies

The Roseville Police Department is now accepting applications for qualified towing companies to be placed on the department's rotation tow company list for the next two years.  A mandatory meeting for all interested operators will be held at 10 a.m. May 1, 2017, at the Roseville Police Department.  All applications and attachments must be turned in by that date. Tow Operators,

Thank you for your interest in joining the tow rotation list for the City of Roseville, CA Police Department.  Open enrollment runs from April 1st-April 30th, 2017.  As you read through the Tow Service Agreement, please pay particular attention to new language added to the following sections:

Page 3, section II Tow Truck Classifications-Paragraph A.   “All Operators must maintain tow trucks capable of towing a Class B and C recreational vehicle (RV), trailer, etc.”

Page 4, under Class D-Super Heavy Duty-Paragraph D.  “The Operator understands and agrees that they may be called upon to tow recreational vehicles (RVs).  Operator agrees that they will maintain storage space and provide tow trucks capable of towing Class B and/or C recreational vehicles (RVs) upon Department’s request.”

Page 12, Paragraph E. “Tow Operators shall maintain a sufficient number of outside or inside storage spaces to meet the needs of the Department and the public.  This includes specifically enough storage for large vehicles such as a recreational vehicle (RV), trailer, etc.”

Page 31.  Question 29 asks, “Are you capable of towing Class A recreational vehicles (RVs)? (Yes or No).”

Page 31. Question 30 asks, “Are you capable of towing Class B recreational vehicles (RVs)? (Yes or No).”

Page 31. Question 31 asks, “Are you capable of towing Class C recreational vehicles (RVs)? (Yes or No).”

Page 32.  Question 32 asks, “Do you have storage spaces for a recreational vehicle (RV)? (Yes or No).”

Our mandatory meeting for all interested tow operators is scheduled for May 1st at 10am in the Mark White Room of the Roseville Police Department.  All applications and attachments must be turned in by this date.  Deputy City Attorney Joe Speaker and  Lt. Marc Glynn will be in attendance to discuss the Tow Service Agreement and to answer your questions.
