Past Exhibit "Coyote": Various Artists

This multimedia exhibit includes paintings, poems, songs and photographs about Coyote from 17 different Native American artists.

Contributing artists include: Harry Fonseca, Lynn Risling, Frank La Pena, Judith Lowry, Dugan Aguilar, L. Frank Manriquez, Tiffany Adams, Rick Bartow, Dalbert Castro, Shelly Covert, Billy Hawk Enos, Janice Gould, Julian Lang, Ardith Read, Monique Sonoquie, Alan Wallace, and Kathleen Smith. 

Coyote is an important character in many Native American stories. He is known as the trickster and is included in creation myths. This exhibit shows Coyote in many different forms; from an abstract photo, to a traditional dancer, to a black jack dealer.
