Night Out at the Museum - April

Please join us Saturday, April 19 from 6:30pm-8:30pm for a FREE “Night Out at the Museum”, part of the 3rd Saturday Art Walk. We will be showing the award winning film, “Grandmother’s Prayer”, a documentary featuring renowned Native American basket weaver Julia Parker (Coast Miwok/Kashaya Pomo). Julia works as a cultural specialist at Yosemite Museum. She is an artist, teacher and storyteller. Her baskets are in the National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C.

Native American filmmakers Wallace Murray, founder of Storyteller Video, and Tim Campbell will answer questions following the film.
Museum doors open at 6:30pm. Program starts at 7pm. Light refreshments will be available.
