Free Smart Cycling Clinics

Participate in one of the following clinics and learn how to improve your cycling safety skills and basic bicycle maintenance. The clinics are taught by trained instructors certified by the League of American Bicyclists.

Free Smart Cycling Clinics

Introductory instruction on skills to bicycle safely and predictably, including: rules of the road and lane positioning; bicycle selection; helmets, equipment, clothing, and safety gear; five things to check every time before you ride; and planning a route. Bikes are not needed for the clinic.  Door prizes are awarded. Drinks and snacks are provided.

Free Basic Bicycle Maintenance 

Timely bicycle maintenance can prevent a serious crash as well as inconveniences that ruin a ride. This clinic covers tools to have with you, fixing a flat tire, basic brake adjustments, basic derailleur adjustments (shifting), and caring for your drive train (chain, cassette, chain ring).
