Bike throughout the month of May

Last Updated: 5/16/2016

Join others this May by riding your bike for errands, recreation, fitness, and commuting! May is Bike Month is a coordinated regional effort that brings visibility to bicycling as healthy and fun form of transportation, and reminds people to think about bicycling safely.

Each year Bike Month challenges residents in the region, through friendly competition, to log two million miles of bicycling collectively. Last year participants of all ages logged more than 1.8 million miles in the Sacramento region.

Go to and log your miles for a chance to win prizes! As miles are logged, the website will track the region's cumulative progress toward bicycling two million miles in May.
