Library VolunTeens
News ImageMeet other teens in Roseville, and make a positive impact in your community. Develop professional skills and work habits. In addition to volunteering, VolunTeens are members of the Teen Library Council.

Applications for the Winter Spring Session are now closed. Recruitment for Summer VolunTeens will begin in April. In the meantime, interested teens that want to get involved sooner are encouraged to attend the monthly Teen Library Council meetings!

Literacy Tutors Needed: Help Someone Learn!
News ImageLiteracy skills open doors and allow people to have the opportunity to succeed in school, work and life. You can help by becoming a tutor!

Our tutors:
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Do not need to have previous tutoring or teaching experience
  • Have 2-3 hours a week to volunteer
  • Are able to volunteer during hours that the library is open
  • Are able to commit at least 6 months to the program
We value both personal and professional diversity in our tutors because we believe that every individual contributes something unique to this program. Visit www.roseville.ca.us/literacy for more information and to apply!
