Help your child develop early literacy skills while having a great time! This drop-in program combines music, movement, visual literacy, and language development to help children get ready to read. No registration required, space may be limited. Parent participation required. Free

Rock Star Guitar 
Ages 8 - 11
Discover how to tune a guitar, play your first chords, try out some strumming styles and pick up some music theory. Learn new songs each day and give a short concert at the final class. Students must bring an acoustic or electric guitar. $10 material fee due at first class.

Tales to Tails
Ages: 6 - 11
Discover the pleasures of reading to friendly library dogs! Animals are ideal reading companions; they listen attentively, do not criticize, allow children to proceed at their own pace and are less intimidating than classmates or adults. View our Policies and Procedures, or the FAQ's, for this program. Add your child to the waitlist by calling the library at (916) 774-5221 or the Roseville Sports Center at (916) 774-5990.
