The Tommy Apostolos Fund was established in 1988, in memory of Tommy Apostolos, a long-time Roseville resident and a 30+ year employee of the Roseville Telephone Company.
The Tommy Apostolos fund purchases clothing for Roseville school children through a special program coordinated by the Placer County Law Enforcement Chaplaincy, in association with the Roseville Telephone Company, Roseville Police Association and the Apostolos Family. One hundred percent of the money raised goes directly to these children who buy clothing at Mervyn’s Department Store each Christmas and during our August “Back to School” shopping sprees.
Through the generosity of these groups and many contributors to the Apostolos Fund, over a thousand children have purchased clothing these past years. However, there are many more children who need our help. That is why we raise money each year in the name of Tommy Apostolos – a caring, warmhearted man who gave much to his family and community.
The Tommy Apostolos Fund perpetuates his memory through this extremely worthwhile community project.
