The City of Roseville provides electric, water, wastewater, and refuse service to most areas within the Roseville city limits.

To establish, cancel, or transfer utility services please contact our office at (916) 774-5300 with the following information:
- Service address(s)
- Date service request is needed (please provide at least two business days notice)
- Customer name
- Social security number
- Drivers license of state ID card
- Current employer
- New phone number
- Work phone number
- Emergency contact name and phone number
- Mailing address (if different from property address)
Same Day Service Requests
There is a twenty-five dollar ($25.00) charge for same day service during business hours. Same day service is subject to availability.
There is an eighty-five dollar ($85.00) charge for same day service outside of regular business hours. This service is available Monday – Friday from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm and is subject to availability.
Our office is closed weekends and holidays, and therefore no service requests will be processed during these days.
Third-Party Notification Service
The City of Roseville offers a third-party notification service to seniors 65 of age and older for utility statements and notices. For customers participating in the service the City will attempt to notify a person designated by the customer to receive statement and delinquent notices for their utility account. The third-party notification does not obligate the third party to pay the overdue utility charges, nor shall it prevent or delay termination of service. To participate in the program the utility account holder must complete the Third-Party Notification Form and submit to the Utility Billing office by mail, fax, or in person.
