Safe Place is an outreach program in cooperation with Diogenes Youth Services. This program encourages children not to run away and gives runaways a way to get off of the streets. All Roseville Fire Stations offer a temporary shelter for youth under the age of 18 who have run away, been pushed out of their homes, have been abused, neglected, or otherwise maltreated. Fire department personnel first assess the need for medical and/or law enforcement intervention and parents are notified by Diogenes Youth Services as soon as possible.More information on Safe Place.
