Welcome to the Fire Prevention Division of the Roseville Fire Department. Our goal is to improve the quality of life of our citizens through life safety education, pre-fire inspections, and fire prevention practices. The division is comprised of highly trained and certified professionals who work towards improving the level of safety in our community.
The division administers several programs including:
- The adoption and enforcement of the California Fire Code
- Building plan review and inspection services
- Administration of the Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA)
- Fire cause and origin investigations
Additionally, the division is the focal point of the department’s efforts to educate the public in a variety of ways to improve their level of safety at home and at work.
Whether it is conducting an annual fire safety inspection, completing an underground storage tank inspection, or approving building plans our staff is dedicated to preventing hazardous situations and fire within our community.
