The Roseville Fire Department manages a proactive Weed Abatement Program. Each spring the Fire Department notifies owners of vacant parcels requiring proper firebreaks. If property owners choose not to comply by a predetermined date, the Fire Department will perform the necessary weed abatement by using a contractor. A bill will be sent to the property owner, which includes the cost of the weed abatement service plus administrative fees.
