The Roseville Fire Department turned 100 years old in 2007. In November 1907, Fire Commissioners organized a volunteer fire department. W.B. Musson was elected Fire Chief and W.T. Butler was elected Assistant Fire Chief. Chiefs Musson and Butler were charged with selecting men to staff two hose carts in order to provide fire protection for the community. This was the start to a humble beginning of the Roseville Fire Department as it is known today.
