Safe Place

Safe Place is an outreach program that encourages children not to run away and gives runaways safe locations to get off of the streets. Safe Place operates in cooperation with Diogenes Youth Services.

Safe Places in Roseville
All Roseville
Fire Stations offer a temporary shelter for youth under the age of 18 who have:
  • Ran away
  • Been pushed out of their homes
  • Been abused, neglected, or otherwise maltreated

Fire department personnel first assess the need for medical and/or law enforcement intervention and parents are notified by Diogenes Youth Services as soon as possible.
