About Station 2
Station 2 is one of the busier stations in the city. Station 2 mostly responds to medical aids but occasionally gets calls to fires, vehicles accidents, releases at the rail yard, and general public assists. Because of its close proximity to the Southwest side of the city limits, Engine 2 often assists the Dry Creek Fire District with calls.
Fire Station 2 is situated on the west side of town and serves a large residential area. The station is dedicated to former Assistant Fire Chief Peter Jenson who served the Roseville Fire Department for 19 years.
Station 2 houses an engine which is staffed by three fire personnel at all times. It also houses a Brush Rig which gets frequent use during fire season. This station is also responsible for deploying the department’s mass decontamination trailer in cases where large amounts of people have been contaminated by a hazardous material.
