Description: Placer County Office of Economic Development provides a variety of Employer Services including posting job openings on the CalJobs website, hosting Job Fairs and providing assistance with interviewing potential employees. Placer County also offers training cost reimbursements, employment tax credit information, a resource library and many other services.

Placer Independent Resource Services (PIRS) advocates for the rights of people with disabilities, educates the community about disability issues, and provides services to persons with disabilities to live independent, productive lives. Any person with a disability is eligible for their services and their services are free of charge. Personal disabilities vary greatly. Roseville Transit accommodates disabled passengers for all of its services. All buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts. If you are unable to use fixed route services, Roseville Transit Dial-A-Ride services are available.
Roseville Transit does not provide medical transportation services. If you are too sick to use public transit, please contact your local health care provider, a taxicab service or call 911 if you have an emergency. Yes, Dial-A-Ride is a curb-to-curb, share-a-ride public transportation system and is available through Roseville Transit.
