Parade Come out for the return of the Independence Day parade! The parade begins at 9 am at the intersection of Riverside/Vernon/Douglas, continues along Vernon Street past the Civic Center, turns right on Lincoln Street before turning right again onto Park Drive. Royer Park Activities Stay for the fun after the parade in Royer Park from 10 am – 1 pm. Carnival games, bounce houses, food vendors and music by the Capitol Pops Concert Band are just some of the festivities planned for Royer Park. Food Vendor Opportunities Are you interested in being a food vendor for the 4th of July Celebration at Royer Park? If so, complete a food vendor application and turn it in by June 10, 2016. Food Vendor Application Fireworks Finish your day of celebration at the Placer County Fairgrounds for fireworks. Gates open at 5 p.m., and the show begins at approximately 9:30 p.m. No alcohol, glass containers, barbecues or personal fireworks permitted. Refreshments will be available for purchase at the fairgrounds. $5 fairgrounds parking fee.

Press Release - Tuesday, April 26, 2016 Joe Warnes (WWII veteran) and Bill Sievers (Vietnam Vet) of Semper Fi Association met with representatives of the Roseville Parks, Recreation & Libraries Department to make improvements to the annual Roseville Fourth of July parade. Semper Fi representatives were briefed about details of the management of past parades by the event coordinator, Dustin DiPlacito. Joe Warnes volunteered to meet with and encourage the various branches of the military to increase military elements to the parade and explore the possibility of patriotic float entries. Warnes has also offered to meet with Roseville Joint Union High Schools to encourage their marching bands to participate, as well.
