2010 Programs and Rebates

Water-Wise House Calls - Call us to schedule a weekday appointment for our water-use specialists to come to your home and analyze your indoor and outdoor water use. Our trained specialist will:

-Check toilets and other plumbing fixtures for leaks.
-Help develop proper and efficient water irrigation schedules.
-Provide free water-saving devices, brochures and any current rebate information to help reduce water use.
-Assess irrigation sprinkler uniformity and water runoff characteristics.
-Analyze irrigation and drainage systems and provide maintenance, repair or replacement recommendations.
-Check meter reading and water pressure (if relevant).
-Pressure check exterior plumbing for leaks.

High-Efficiency Toilet Rebates - Receive up to $200 for replacing your older (pre-1992), non-conserving toilet with a new 1.28 gallon per flush model. Download the HET rebate application for qualifying information and visit the U.S. EPA Water Sense website to view models approved by the EPA and authorized for a rebate.

Ultra-Low Flush Toilet Rebates - Receive up to a $50 rebate for replacing your older (pre-1992), non-conserving toilet with a new 1.6 gallon per flush model. Download the ULFT rebate application for qualifying information and view the latest maximum performance testing (MAP) results on more than 200 toilet fixture models.

High-Efficiency Clothes Washer Rebates - Customers who purchase and install a high-efficiency washing machine may be eligible to receive up to a $75 rebate courtesy of a joint effort between the Water Conservation Division and Roseville's Wastewater Utility and it's regional partners. Rebates will be given on machines that have a water factor of 6.0 or better. Before you buy, view a list of qualifying machines on the Consortium for Energy Efficiency site at http://www.cee1.org. Tier 2 and 3 machines meet the necessary water factor requirements. Download your rebate application by visiting http://www.roseville.ca.us/electric or call 774-5761 for more information. Funding is limited. Rebates are offered on a first-come, first serve basis.

Cash for Grass - Replace your thirsty grass with low water use plants and get money back! Roseville will rebate customers $1 per square foot of turf replaced up to a maximum of $1,000 per site. The program begins July 1, 2010. Download an application and view program details on the Cash for Grass website or call 774-5761 for further information. Program funding is limited.

Irrigation Efficiency Rebate - Recieve up to a $400 rebate for upgrading your irrigation system with new high efficiency equipment. The program covers 100% of eligible parts and 25% of the labor to install them. Download the Irrigation Efficiency rebate application for program information or call 774-5761 for more information. Funding is limited. Rebates are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Swimming Pool Cover Rebate - Save water and keep your pool clean by installing a pool cover. Customers can receive a $50 rebate, or 50% of the purchase price of a pool cover, whichever is less. Or get up to a $200 rebate if a permanent mechanical pool cover is installed. Download the Swimming Pool Cover Rebate Application for further information or call 774-5761 for program details. Plumbing Retrofit Devices - Customers with older (pre-1992) plumbing fixtures can call us for FREE, high-quality devices that reduce water use. Devices include low-flow showerheads, faucet aerators, toilet flapper replacements, toilet leak-detection tablets, hose shut-off nozzles, and moisture meters.
