• Applications will only be accepted in-person or by mail. Applications should be turned in or mailed to:

• Applications will be processed in the order received.

The Cash for Grass Rebate Program helps property owners convert water-thirsty grass to a water efficient landscape. The City of Roseville will rebate customers $1.00 per square foot of grass removed and replaced with water efficient landscape with a $1,000 cap per address. Terms and conditions and frequently asked questions should be reviewed. Funding is limited and applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Check In
You must participate in a pre-conversion site visit before removing your lawn. Starting without City of Roseville's approval will make your conversion ineligible.

Cash In
After you upgrade, you'll get $1.00 for every square foot of lawn converted to water-smart landscaping with a maximum of $1,000 per address.

Every square foot of grass replaced with water-smart trees, shrubs and flowers can save an average of 30 gallons of water per year, so you'll also save money on your monthly water bill.
