Roseville Electric's solar rebate program aligns with California’s Million Solar Roof Initiative (Senate Bill 1). Under the Million Solar Roof Initiative, the rebate levels will be reduced as required the program. Funding for this program is limited and customers must reserve funds for their project prior to construction.

The current rebate for the residential program is $2.00 per AC watt CSI Rating or a maximum of $6,000. Please check this site re gularly for revised rebate levels and program updates.
Customers are required to complete an online energy audit as part of the application to reserve funds for a solar rebate. A print out of the audit report must be submitted with the application to reserve funds for a solar rebate. The audit will help customers determine the best measures to implement for their specific situation.

CSI Model: Applicants for PV incentives must (1) model their proposed system in the California Solar Incentive (CSI) model, and (2) provide a copy of the CSI model results to Roseville Electric as part of the PV incentive application process.

- Mandatory: Energy Efficiency Audit or Proof of Title 24 Compliance within the past 3 years, disclosure, possible commitment to energy efficiency upgrades

- Systems <10kW CEC AC Watts: Expected Performance Based Incentive (EPBI) paid in a single up-front payment upon system completion and satisfying all requirements
