Keeping your pool clean can use more electricity than you may think. Now you can save energy and money by upgrading your old single speed or two speed pool pump to a variable speed pump.

Variable speed pumps save energy by running at lower speeds when the pool needs less filtration. This can help keep your pool cleaner longer, while reducing the cost to operate the pool equipment.

Qualifications

Important qualifications requirements are:

• The pool pump must be installed at a single family residence that receives power from Roseville Electric.
• Offer is only valid for the replacement of single or two speed pump and motor (retrofit only).
• The pool pump must have a programmable controller unit (built-in or stand alone) to be eligible for rebate.   See below for a list of qualifying pool pumps.
• Only pumps and motors installed on new or existing in ground pools qualify (above ground pool, pond, pool cleaner/booster and spas do not qualify).
