Refrigerator and Freezer Recycling Rebates

Roseville Electric customers can receive $100 just for recycling an old-working refrigerator or freezer.  Please refer to our list of qualifying recyclers and make sure to obtain proof of recycling. Only full size models are eligible.

Energy  Star Refrigerator Purchase Rebate

Roseville Electric customers who purchase a new Energy Star refrigerator in addition to recycling their old one are eligible for an additional $25.00 rebate.  Retailers such as Home Depot, Lowes, Sears, Best Buy, Manuel Joseph, RC Willey, Kmart and Pacific Sales will recycle the old refrigerator at little or no cost when the new one is delivered.

The additional $25.00 rebate applies only to the purchase of a new refrigerator, new freezers do not qualify.

Please refer to the list of qualifying refrigerators for more infomation.

Applications must be postmarked no later than 60 days after purchase and/or recycling.

Remember, Energy Star appliances will save you money all year long.  To help keep your energy costs down during summer months, it's important to use the larger appliances after 7 p.m. By delaying their use, you can save on costs.
