Lower My Bill

Understanding your energy use

The first step to lowering your electricity bill starts with understanding your household energy use and using the information in your monthly bills to plan ahead for the months when electrical use is greater, particularly the summer months when air conditioning use is highest.

Page 2 of your bill details the kilowatt hours (kWh) billed for the previous month and the same month a year ago.

Don’t have 12 months of bills saved?
If you are signed up for Online Billpay, a 12 month history graph is included in your profile. A more detailed history of your usage can be ordered by calling the Electric Customer Service Representatives at 79-POWER.
