Roseville named 10th best city in California for families
10/7/2015 -  Roseville is the 10th best city in California for families according to a recent survey by

WalletHub compared 240 California cities across 22 key metrics. The metrics range from the number of attractions to the number of pediatricians per capita to unemployment rate.

Roseville ranked well above average several categories including being tied for first statewide in number of playgrounds per capita.

Roseville was also ranked in the top three percent for housing affordability and top seven percent for median family salary.

Roseville Housing Authority celebrates 40 years of providing safe, affordable housing in Roseville and Rocklin

The City of Roseville Housing Authority is celebrating 40 years of providing rental assistance to low-income residents of Roseville and Rocklin. Since 1974, the Roseville Housing Authority has awarded more than $70 million in federal funds for rental assistance in Roseville and Rocklin.

The Roseville Housing Authority currently provides rental assistance for 637 households through the federal Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program. Eighty percent of households receiving rental assistance in Roseville and Rocklin have a head of household who is either elderly or disabled.
