Economic Development Committees

The following committees help to serve the needs of Roseville businesses:

Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) – EDAC is a committee that monitors implementation of the economic development strategy, reviews fee deferral requests and makes recommendations on various economic development related issues. All meetings are open to public and are scheduled on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 1:30 p.m. To request agenda items for a future EDAC meeting or for any questions about EDAC, please contact the Office of Economic Development at (916) 774-5362. Downtown Business Attraction Team – The Downtown Business Attraction Team aims to leverage Council interest, staff resources, community support, and the potential for a vibrant Downtown Roseville as documented in the Downtown Roseville visioning process into a collaborative effort to aggressively market available properties. (Redevelopment Agency and Office of Economic Development)
Business Advisory Council - The BAC will provide policy guidance for implementing the City’s Economic Development Strategy’s action items, identify trends and the need for new proactive programs and policy, allow participation and input from the City’s Top 50 employers with knowledge on what is needed for business expansion and retention, and to allow those involved in the City’s economic development efforts, Council members included, to hear directly from business on a regular basis.
