The purpose of the Downtown Business Attraction Team is to leverage Council interest, staff resources, community support, and the potential for a vibrant Downtown Roseville as documented in the Downtown Roseville visioning process into a collaborative effort to aggressively market available properties. This will be done through; education and training, targeted business attraction, response to inquiries, visitor, site selector & event promotions, ongoing marketing, and; a best practices repository. The DBAT will be led by a steering committee comprised of; 2 Councilmembers representing EDAC and the Roseville Revitalization Committee; 1 Chamber representative designated by the Chamber’s Board of Directors; 2 Downtown representatives; 2 staff members, one each from the Office of Economic Development and Redevelopment.
