Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC)– EDAC is a committee that monitors implementation of the economic development strategy, reviews fee deferral requests and makes recommendations on various economic development related issues. All meetings are open to public and are scheduled on the fourth Thursday of each month at 1:30 p.m. Council approved the expansion of EDAC from three to nine voting members in April 2008. The purpose of the expansion is to include key stakeholders in reviewing ongoing projects and approving projects within the City’s programs such as the fee deferral and SCIP programs, to allow more input from target industry representatives that are in growth modes in the City, and to include key partners of the present and future in guiding Roseville’s economic development policy recommendations to the full City Council. To request agenda items for a future EDAC meeting or for any questions about EDAC, please contact the Office of Economic Development at (916) 774-5362.
