Susan was elected to a four-year term on the City Council in November 2010. She is a self-employed public affairs consultant.  Prior to starting her own business in the late 90’s, Susan was engaged in corporate land management. She was responsible for government affairs and was a member of the operations management teams. She is a native Nebraskan and a graduate of the University of Nebraska. She and her husband Einar have a blended family of three grown children and two grandchildren.

Susan is a recipient of the Roseville Chamber of Commerce Athena Award and the Placer County Economic Development Board Private Sector Business Award in 1996.  In that same year, the Alpha Delta Kappa delegates of California made her an Honorary Member of the International Honorary Sorority for Women Educators.
