Dr. Tim Herman was elected to the City Council in November 2010 and was sworn into office on December 2. At the time of his election Tim was finishing up nearly ten years on the Parks and Recreation Commission. In addition to those duties he was serving on the Youth Sports Coalition and the Sustainability Action Plan Committee.
Tim has been a practicing dentist in Roseville since 1989 and is the managing partner of A+ Personalized Dental Care of Roseville & Lincoln, a family group practice. Tim thanks his very talented partners with allowing him the time to serve the citizens of Roseville as a Councilmember. Herman was named the Roseville Chamber of Commerce’s Business Person of the Year for 2009 and received the Chamber’s President’s award in 2005.
Councilmember Herman has been active in the community in a number of ways: he was the Kaseberg PTA’s representative to the district’s budget advisory committee, he was a member of the Cooley Middle School’s original site council, and represented Roseville High School on the Continuous Improvement Leadership Team (CILT). He has also coached soccer, basketball and been president of the Woodcreek Sea Wolves swim team.
Herman is a native Californian and has made Roseville his family home since 1992. He attended UOP in Stockton, CSU Sacramento, CSU Hayward and received his Bachelor’s and Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degrees from UC San Francisco School of Dentistry in 1988.
Tim resides in Roseville with his wife Pam and daughter Joceline. He loves to water ski, play basketball and if you use our Miner’s Ravine trail you are likely to see Tim training for his next marathon. He is always willing to go for a run and discuss your concerns.
