Downtown Infrastructure/Streetscape Improvement Project - Phase I

Construction of the Phase I Infrastructure/Streetscape Improvements were completed in May 2013.


Project Location
The Phase I project focused on the following streets in Downtown Roseville: Atlantic Street, Taylor Street, Oak Street, and Lincoln Street. Additional, smaller scale work was also performed on Jefferson Street, Grant Street, and Vernon Street. 

Project Goals

The project upgraded the infrastructure in support of current businesses and the future growth envisioned by the Downtown Specific Plan

Project Description 
Water lines, storm drain facilities, sewer lines, electrical facilities, curb/gutter/sidewalk, and landscaping improvements were completed during this project.

The $3.75M project is funded by:
Strategic Improvement Funds
Traffic Mitigation Funds
Tree Mitigation Funds
Sewer Rehabilitation Funds
Water Rehabilitation Funds

Time Line
May 16, 2012 – Council approves award of design-assist agreement to Carter-Kelly Construction
May – July 2012 – Ongoing development of plans, specifications and estimate

July 16, 2012 – Construction begins
May 2013 - Project Completed
