On April 4, 2012, the Roseville City Council accepted the findings and recommendations of the City’s multi-stakeholder Higher Education Task Force. In doing so, it took a significant step toward increasing higher education options for Roseville and South Placer County residents.
Roseville and Sacramento State Formalize Partnership Sacramento State and the City of Roseville are joining forces to support their common interests and have formalized their relationship with the signing of a memorandum of understanding.
The signing took place Wednesday, April 11, at the Blue Line Gallery, 405 Vernon St., Suite 100, Roseville.
Sacramento State President Alexander Gonzalez, Roseville Mayor Pauline Roccucci and City Manager Ray Kerridge took part in the ceremony.
The MOU is aimed at developing partnerships and opportunities to benefit both entities by matching University programs and services with the city’s business community; and identifying opportunities to expand Sacramento State’s presence in the Roseville/south Placer County area.
Roseville City Council approves Task Force report, declares higher education expansion a City priority On April 4th, the Roseville Council adopted a resolution approving the findings and recommendations report of the Higher Education Task Force.
