Local businesses MV Transportation and Denio’s Farmers Market and Auction made the first $1000 donations. Ken Denio, Chamber of Commerce and Centennial Committee member, presented Mayor Gray with his $1000 check at the “It’s Official” press conference hosted by Green Acres Nursery on April 23, 2008.
