Work began in late August on preparing the site within Royer Park for the upcoming Downtown Bridges & Trail Project. Working hours are scheduled for weekdays, 7 a.m. - 4 p.m., for approximately 30 days. The Royer Park parking lot will remain open to the public. Dietrich Drive will be closed intermittently.
As part of the EngageRoseville effort, the Community Priorities Advisory Committee (CPAC) prioritized discretionary services provided by Roseville Public Works. Discretionary services are those not mandated by law or tied to customer revenue, grant funding, designated fees, or other sources that can only be used on certain expenditures.
Roseville schools are teaming up with the City of Roseville to participate in the annual Walk or Bike to School Day on Wednesday, October 4. Organized by the school's parent-teacher association and staff from the City of Roseville's Safe Routes to School program, the day is designed to encourage walking or biking to school in groups rather than driving.

Improvements to the Louis Orlando Transit Center began Monday, May 8. During construction Roseville Transit, Sacramento Regional Transit and Placer County Transit buses are temporarily picking up at Auburn Boulevard before Auburn Oaks Court and Twin Oaks Avenue. Route schedules remain the same. During construction Louis Lane is closed to traffic.
